COLONY

The buzzing of bees creates frenetic energy. This series is the way I read into that energy. My ink swirls imply the urgency and constancy of bee flight, which to them is natural, but to me is emotional. When I manifest their movement, I create landscapes in which human emotions and relationships are acted out through the vulnerability of bees.
